Marco Chilò is a qualified Advanced Composite Engineer with a PhD in Textiles Mechanics & Science from the University of Manchester and a Master’s degree in Advanced Composite Engineering from École Centrale de Nantes. He has over a decade of international experience in the textiles and composites industries, combining research, innovation, and industrial practice. Marco brings a global outlook to multidisciplinary engineering challenges.
Previously, he worked as a Global R&D Lab Scientist at Albany International (UK), where he pioneered testing methods for flexible composites and coordinated multinational R&D projects. With a strong track record in sustainable composites, particularly recycled carbon fibre thermoplastic systems.

After the degree, Luca worked in the UK for a multiaxial textile company and for 8 years in Italy in his consultancy company, active in the composite materials World. He has competence in nanomaterials and carbon based products. From 2017 he is actively researching recycled carbon fiber based applications in composite materials, with particular interest for new advanced technologies.

Patrick has a Master’s Degree with a Thesis on innovative tooling based on high modulus pitch fibres for aircraft structural components. Currently a consultant for major OEMs, He is actively involved in new products development and in the research on recycling and reuse of carbon fiber composites.

Paolo has different certifications for the development of advanced products in the composite materials field. In 2019 he received the CERT’ing certification from ACCREDIA according to the UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17024. He has been working for more than 30 years in the development of advanced composites, 20 of which as a consultant for companies around the World.
