Marco Chilò is a qualified Advanced Composite Engineer with a PhD in Textiles Mechanics & Science from the University of Manchester and a Master’s degree in Advanced Composite Engineering from École Centrale de Nantes. He has over a decade of international experience in the textiles and composites industries, combining research, innovation, and industrial practice. Marco brings a global outlook to multidisciplinary engineering challenges.
Previously, he worked as a Global R&D Lab Scientist at Albany International (UK), where he pioneered testing methods for flexible composites and coordinated multinational R&D projects. With a strong track record in sustainable composites, particularly recycled carbon fibre thermoplastic systems.
